the Eternal Tree House
in Redcrest on the Redwood Highway.

The Eternal Tree House is located in Redcrest, California, about 40 miles south of Eureka on the Redwood Highway.

Owned by Mr. & Mrs. Doyle Metheny, the site includes a gift shop and cafe with very nice food.

The Eternal Tree House is actually a VERY large stump which was logged so many years ago that the secondary growth from the original roots is about 4+ feet in diameter. The Tree is on the west side of the Avenue of the Giants in the center of Redcrest.

I would be very happy to hear more from anyone with further information or postcard images!
